ReplyDeleteI have following query with respect to TA officer`s entry.
1. I am sailing as Captain in Merchant Navy.I am working on a contract basis.We sign a contract of say 2 months with a company and once the contract is completed we sign off from the ship and no longer from a part of the company in such a case do we have to produce decleration of "Self Employed" candidate.
2. I have not completed graduation formaly. But on the basis of my Certificate of Competency ( COC ), issued by Ministry of shipping, which empowers me to sail as Captain on a merchant ships, Mumbai University grants certificate of equivalence of BSC Nautical Science. Am I eligible to apply for TA on such certificate of equivalence.
