Indian Army Recruitment Rally 2014 Indian Army Recruitment Rallies are conducted all over the year in different cities of different states. These Recruitment Rallies are the main source of filling the vacant posts of Soldier (General Duty). Sports person and Musicians are also recruited through such rallies. Army Recruitment Rally at Dhalpur, Kullu From May 27 To 28

Army Recruitment Office, Mandi, will organise an open recruitment rally from May 22 to 28 in Dhalpur Ground in Kullu. This drive is being organised for youth of Kullu, Mandi and Lahaul and Spiti. Director, ARO Mandi, Colonel SD Mathur, said the recruitment in the Army was conducted on merit and candidates should not fall prey to touts promising job in the Army. He said the recruitment for soldiers general duty, clerks and storekeepers will be held during the rally.

He said recruitment for general duty soldiers for candidates of Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti districts will be held on May 22 while the it is scheduled for Sadar Mandi, Chachyot, Thunag and Ladbharol subdivisions of Mandi district for May 23.

He said general duty recruitment for Sundernagar, Jogindernagar, Padhhar, Sandhol and Karsog regions of Mandi district will be held on May 24. He said recruitment for soldier clerks and storekeepers for Mandi district candidates would be held on May 25 while it was scheduled on May 26 for the candidates of Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti districts.

Army recruitment rally begins in Manipur

Maj Gen PM Bali, VSM, GOC Red Shield Division flagged off one of the largest Recruitment Rallies in Manipur being conducted by the Army at Leimakhong today.

The rally is being conducted with an aim of attracting the best among the eligible youth of the state into the Indian Army.

The General expressed his happiness on the overwhelming response from the youth of the State and conveyed his best wishes to all the candidates appearing in the Recruitment Rally.

While speaking to the participating youth, the GOC encouraged them by acknowledging the exceptional martial skill of the people of Manipur and highlighted numerous occasions when officers and soldiers from Manipur have done the Nation and the Army proud by displaying exemplary valour and gallantry in War.

Encouraged by the massive participation by the youth of the State in the Army Recruitment Rally conducted last year at Leimakhong during the same month, the Army is conducting yet another Recruitment Rally at Leimakhong for enrolment of eligible youth into the Indian Army from all the districts of Manipur and Nagaland.

For smooth conduct of the Rally, the candidates from different districts are appearing on different dates.

The culmination of the Rally will take place with the conduct of the Common Entrance Examination on May 25 next.

Army to Organise Special Recruitment Rally in Bihar

Youths of 12 Bihar districts will get a chance to become a soldier as the Indian Army is organising a special recruitment rally at Katihar from May 28 to June 6.

The aspirants could produce documents pertaining to education, domicile and character during the recruitment rally to compete for the posts of soldiers in general duty, tradesman, technical, clerk and nursing assistant categories.

"Youths from Banka, Khagaria, Supaul, Araria, Saharsa, Begusarai, Munger, Madhepura, Bhagalpur, Purnia, Kishanganj and Kathihar districts will be given a chance to join the Indian Army at this rally," said Colonel GS Radkar, Director (Recruiting) of the Army Recruiting Office at Katihar.

The final day, June 6, has been reserved for NCC A, B and C certificate holders from all these districts," he said.

Radkar cautioned the youth not to take recourse to forged documents or get in the trap of touts who cheat poor and innocent youth in the name of providing jobs in the army.

Open recruitment rally for Leh,Kargil youths on May 19

A two-day open recruitment rally is being held from May 19 at Leh for the youths of Ladakh region.

For aspirants from Leh, the recruitment will be held from May 19 and from Kargil on May 20.

Aspirants meeting the eligibility criteria and hailing from Leh and Kargil should report to the rally site at 0700 hrs on the respective days.

The rally will be conducted for Soldier General Duty (SGD) and Soldier Technical Categories (STC).

Screening will include physical fitness tests, Physical measurement tests, documents check and medical examination.

Aspirants between age of 17 to 21 years as on May 20 and having minimum qualification of 10th class are eligible for Soldier General Duty category.

Candidates in age group of 17 to 23 years and having qualification of 12th simple pass in Science with Maths, Physics, Chemistry and English with 45 per cent marks in aggregate or 10th class pass with min 50 per cent marks in aggregate if three year Diploma in engineering from an AICTE recognised Institute are eligible for Soldier Technical Category.

Candidates should be in possession of all original education certificates, Nativity certificate issued by Deputy Commissioner, Caste certificate issued by Tehsildar or Sub District Magistrate and three Character Certificates issued by Police, School and Sarpanch or Numberdar in last 6 months.

Attested Photo copies of these documents and 12 Passport size photographs should also be brought.

The date on which the Army Recruitment Rally will be conducted in Kasargod district in Kerala will be from 19 to 30 May 2014.

The recruitment will be conducted by Army recruitment offices of Trivandrum and Kozhikode.

The venue of Army recruitment at Kasargod is at Government Stadium.

The rally is conducted for unmarried male candidates below 21 years of age.
